Oracle CPQ developers are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining CPQ solutions that streamline and automate the quoting process. Their work ensures that sales teams can configure products, apply pricing rules, and generate accurate quotes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Development

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for CPQ implementations.
• Design and develop CPQ configurations, commerce processes, and document generation templates.
• Customize Oracle CPQ using BML (BigMachines Language), JavaScript, and REST/SOAP APIs.

Integration & Data Management

• Integrate CPQ with D365 ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
• Manage data flows between CPQ and external systems, ensuring synchronization of product catalogs, pricing, and customer data.

Testing & Deployment

• Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Participate in deployment planning and execution, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Support & Maintenance

• Provide ongoing support for CPQ applications, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Monitor system health and resolve issues related to configuration logic, pricing rules, and quote generation.

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Ensure compliance with internal change management processes, such as Change Request reviews and SOX controls.

Required Skills and Experience

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience with Oracle CPQ application architecture and customization.
• Familiarity with SDLC practices and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred

• Functional and/or technical certifications related to Oracle CPQ.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
